Facial necrotizing fasciitis (NF) is a rare fulminant infection of the soft and connective tissues that spreads along the fascial planes of the face. Its origins most commonly involve odontogenic infection and are usually associated with a previous history of dento-alveolar surgery, such as tooth extraction or implant placement. In this article, we present a case of ascending facial necrotizing fasciitis with odontogenic origin in a patient taking a bisphosphonate.
