Abstract
Interpretation of scientific data is not a simple task and demands a thorough and critical analysis by researchers and clinicians. The use of the p-value has been one of the most debated issues over the last few decades and has been a subject of much interest in statistics. Based on the p value in scientific papers, many clinicians started making their decisions on the results by only taking into account such an estimate.1 Therefore, some concerns regarding the interpretation of statistical analyses are relevant and should be considered by researchers, clinicians and journal readers and reviewers.
